The Montreux Jazz Festival is the second largest jazz festival in the world and the largest jazz festival in Europe, as well as being Switzerland's largest festival of any variety. With a lineup that isn't exclusively Jazz, the festival caters to a wider audience than hardened jazz fanatics, but also acts as a gateway to jazz for those who are less familiar with it.
